This 7 Days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Group Joining Safari is an exciting mid-range group joining wildlife safari designed for travelers who want to experience Kenya’s famous national parks while sharing the adventure with other safari enthusiasts. The safari is organized by Jossec Safaris, a trusted local safari company in Kenya with experienced guides and well-maintained 4x4 safari vehicles.
The safari covers three of Kenya’s most iconic destinations: the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park, and Amboseli National Park with its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Guests will enjoy game drives searching for the Big Five, large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other wildlife species.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or agreed location. You will meet the Jossec Safaris driver guide who will give you a safari briefing before departure. We drive through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery and photo opportunities before continuing to the Maasai Mara.
After lunch, proceed for your first exciting afternoon game drive in the reserve. The Maasai Mara is famous for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and seasonal wildebeest migration herds. Later, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara Game Drives
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the Maasai Mara plains with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, and your guide will help you search for predators, grazing animals, and bird species.
You will have a picnic lunch inside the reserve, allowing more time for wildlife viewing. The Maasai Mara landscape provides excellent opportunities for photography, especially during sunrise and sunset when animals are most active.
Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of approximately USD 450 per person.

Day 3: Another Full Day Maasai Mara Safari Experience
Today you continue exploring the Maasai Mara with more game drives. Every drive offers a different experience as you explore various sections of the reserve. You may encounter large elephant families, prides of lions, cheetahs hunting across the plains, hippos near rivers, and many antelope species.
The day allows you to enjoy the true wilderness atmosphere of the Mara while your professional safari guide shares information about wildlife, conservation, and local culture.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the park known for its beautiful landscapes, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species.
Lake Nakuru is also a great destination for bird lovers, with many water birds found around the lake depending on the season.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, located near the Kenya–Tanzania border. Enjoy the scenic drive as you travel south towards the home of large elephant herds and the famous views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Upon arrival, have lunch and later enjoy an afternoon game drive. Amboseli offers excellent wildlife photography opportunities, especially elephants walking with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Day 6: Full Day Amboseli National Park Safari
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its large elephant population, open plains, and spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain.
You will have opportunities to see lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, and many bird species. Your guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas while explaining the ecosystem and animal behavior.

Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli before departing for Nairobi. You will have time for final wildlife sightings and photographs before the journey back.
Jossec Safaris will ensure a comfortable transfer to Nairobi, where the safari ends with drop-off at your hotel, airport, or preferred location.
