The 7 Days Uganda Ultimate Safari has been designed for travelers who want to experience the best of southwestern Uganda in one unforgettable journey.
During this safari, chimpanzees will be tracked in the ancient forests of Kibale National Park, wildlife will be explored in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and mountain gorillas will be encountered in the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
In addition, a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel will be enjoyed, while beautiful Lake Bunyonyi will provide a relaxing stop before the journey back to Entebbe.
This itinerary follows the popular southwestern Uganda safari circuit highlighted by SafariBookings, where Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi are commonly combined on one-week trips.
The safari will be operated as a private trip using a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle and an experienced English-speaking driver-guide.

Day 1: Entebbe – Kibale National Park
Your Uganda safari will begin with pickup from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe.
After meeting your professional driver-guide, you will begin the journey westwards toward Kibale National Park.
The drive will take you through Uganda's countryside, where villages, farms, plantations, and beautiful landscapes will be seen along the way.
Upon arrival in the Kibale area, you will check into your lodge and relax.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before your chimpanzee trekking experience begins.
Kibale is one of Uganda's premier destinations for primate experiences, and the forest is known for its chimpanzee population.
During the trek, you will walk through the rainforest with experienced trackers and guides.
Chimpanzees may be seen feeding, calling, climbing trees, grooming, or moving through the forest.
The experience can be combined with opportunities to see other primates and forest wildlife.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Depending on your interests and available time, an optional Bigodi Wetland community experience can be arranged.

Day 3: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Kibale and continue toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The journey will take you through the scenic landscapes of western Uganda.
Upon arrival, a game drive can be conducted depending on your arrival time.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda's most popular safari destinations and is known for its savannah, wetlands, lakes, wildlife, and exceptional birdlife. SafariBookings describes the park as one of Uganda's most biodiverse protected areas, with elephants, buffaloes, lions, hippos, and many other species.
Later, you will check into your lodge and relax.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise
Today will be dedicated to exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive.
The park provides opportunities to search for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, warthogs, and other wildlife.
The drive will be conducted in a 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, allowing better viewing of the surrounding landscape.
After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is famous for its concentration of hippos and other wildlife.
During the cruise, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and numerous water birds may be observed along the shoreline.
After the cruise, you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will begin the journey toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The route will take you through the changing landscapes of southwestern Uganda, with rolling hills, farms, forests, and local communities encountered along the way.
If time permits, an en-route game drive through the Ishasha sector can be considered.
The Ishasha area is particularly known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
You will continue to Bwindi and check into your lodge.
The remainder of the evening will be spent relaxing and preparing for the following day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will travel to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
Once your gorilla family has been assigned, you will enter the forest accompanied by experienced guides and trackers.
The trek can take several hours because the gorillas move freely through their natural habitat.
When the gorilla family is located, you will spend time observing these incredible primates in their natural environment.
You may see silverbacks, mothers, juveniles, and other members of the family feeding, resting, grooming, or playing.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe
Wake up to the beautiful scenery of Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast, you will begin your journey back toward Entebbe.
Depending on your departure time, a short boat ride or viewpoint stop can be arranged around Lake Bunyonyi before departure.
The journey back to Entebbe will provide another opportunity to enjoy Uganda's countryside and local communities.
You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport or your preferred accommodation, marking the end of your 7 Days Uganda Ultimate Safari.
