Mountain climbing
Marangu route which is also known as the coca cola route is the least expensive route to the summit. This is also the only route with the comforts of sleeping huts at every camp site with solar lights and comfortable beds. The huts are communal, and the bunks have a sponge mattress and pillow. There are 60 beds at both Mandara and Kibo Huts and 120 beds at Horombo Hut. Bathrooms and running water are available at the two lower huts. Mens’ and ladies’ latrines are available at the last camp but are very basic. All climbing groups, often from several countries around the world, share meals in dining huts providing a jovial and energetic atmosphere. This route is usually done in 5 days (shortest route to the summit) but can be done in 6 days for better acclimatization. The extra day can be spent resting at Horombo or climbing the small peak of Mawenzi.

Vehicle Used
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town; you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming trek and do an equipment check to make sure you have all the necessary mountain gear. The missing gear can be rented on this day.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations:
In the event of cancellations, a notice of which should be given in writing, the deposit may be refunded minus the charges for reservations that have been processed, a cancellation fee in posed by the hotels/campsites/lodges/Special Camp fees and transporters, and any other relevant expenses. Tipping is not compulsory, but it is a customary way to show appreciation for good service. Tips are normally given at the end of a safari or mountain climb.
Kilimanjaro Climbing
Recommended total tip per group, divided among the mountain crew:
Mountain Guide: USD 25–35 per client per day
Assistant Guide: USD 20–25 per client per day
Cook: USD 15–20 per client per day
Porter: USD 10–15per client per day
