Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi
A guide from Click Expedition meets you at Kilimanjaro airport and drives you to your hotel in Moshi. After you get settled, the team goes over all the details and preparation information for the bike expedition. The rest of the day is open for you to rest or walk around town and get familiar with the area.

Day 2: Moshi to Kilema Camp
You'll get picked up from your hotel this morning and head to Marangu gate where permits get sorted out and you'll meet the porter team. After that, transfer takes you to Kilema gate, where your mountain bike expedition actually starts. The route goes through the rainforest in Mount Kilimanjaro National Park with lots of different plants, birds, and wildlife to see. By evening you reach Kilema camp at 2,980 meters/9,777 feet and sleep in tents.

Day 3: Kilema Camp to Horombo Camp
Today's ride crosses through the semitropical foothills and then climbs a steep path up to Horombo camp at 3,700 meters/12,139 feet. From camp, the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are really nice, and you can see both peaks, Mawenzi and Kibo. You'll sleep in huts at the camp tonight.

Day 4: Kilema Camp to Horombo Camp
This day focuses on letting your body adjust to the altitude, which matters a lot for the expedition. After breakfast, you'll ride through the Alpine desert heading up to Mawenzi Hut before riding back down to Horombo camp. You'll stay another night at the camp to help with acclimatization.

Day 5: Horombo Camp to Kibo Base Camp
After breakfast, the ride takes you past the Senecio garden with its native tree species and through the Alpine desert. You'll follow the scenic path between Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. When you reach Kibo base camp, the guides brief you on what to expect for the summit attempt, then the afternoon is yours to rest and prepare.

Day 6: Kibo Base Camp to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Camp
The summit push starts very early in the morning with a zig-zag climbing route up the mountain slopes. It takes roughly 2 hours to reach Hans Meyer's Cave, then the climb gets tougher with another 3 hours to Gilman's point. From there, porters bring your bike and you'll ride along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak at the summit, where you can see glaciers, Mount Meru, and views across Tanzania and Kenya. Depending on how you're feeling and what the guide recommends, you can either keep riding or walk. On the way back down, you stop at Kibo base camp for lunch, then continue riding down to Horombo camp.

Day 7: Horombo Camp to Kilema Gate to Moshi
After resting overnight, you have breakfast and then make your final ride down through moorland and rainforest to Kilema gate. From there, transfer takes you to Marangu gate for checkout, then on to your hotel in Moshi. Taking the bike back from Kilema gate is optional if you'd prefer.
