This safari takes you to Bwindi Forest in southwestern Uganda, on the edge of the Rift Valley. It’s best known as a sanctuary for about 400 mountain gorillas—nearly half of the world’s population. The park is home to several habituated groups that visitors can track. In Kibale, a highlight is the Kanyanchu Primate Walk, where you can follow chimpanzees. Queen Elizabeth National Park offers diverse wildlife, with the Ishasha sector famous for its tree-climbing lions.
