Your safari begins in Nairobi, where your Jossec Safaris driver-guide will meet you at your hotel, residence, or the airport at the agreed time. After a short safari briefing, you will depart Nairobi and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you leave the city behind and travel toward the scenic Amboseli ecosystem. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and have time to settle in and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, many of which can be seen moving across the open plains with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hyenas, and numerous bird species. As the sun begins to set, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation.
