The safari begins and ends in Nairobi and is designed exclusively for two people traveling together, based on double-sharing accommodation. You will travel in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle with an experienced English-speaking professional driver-guide, giving you flexibility to enjoy the parks at a comfortable pace and spend more time observing the wildlife and landscapes that interest you most.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park | Evening Game Drive
Your safari begins in Nairobi, where your Jossec Safaris driver-guide will meet you at your hotel, residence, or the airport at the agreed time. After a short safari briefing, you will depart Nairobi and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations.
The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you leave the city behind and travel toward the scenic Amboseli ecosystem. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and have time to settle in and enjoy lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, many of which can be seen moving across the open plains with the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hyenas, and numerous bird species.
As the sun begins to set, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru | Short Morning Game Drive & Relaxed Afternoon
Wake up to the beautiful surroundings of Amboseli and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will embark on a short morning game drive as you leave the Amboseli area. The early hours offer another opportunity to spot wildlife before beginning your journey toward the Great Rift Valley.
You will then depart Amboseli and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive offers an opportunity to see the changing scenery of Kenya, from the dry landscapes around Amboseli to the dramatic escarpments and fertile highlands of the Rift Valley.
Upon arrival in Nakuru, you will check in at your luxury hotel and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is intentionally kept relaxed, allowing you to rest after the journey, enjoy the facilities at your accommodation, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.
Depending on your arrival time and personal preference, you may also discuss with your guide the possibility of a short local activity, subject to availability and additional charges.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara | Morning Game Drive & Relaxed Afternoon
After breakfast, you will begin your day with a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is known for its scenic lake, birdlife, rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and other wildlife. Your driver-guide will take you through selected areas of the park in search of wildlife before you depart for the Maasai Mara.
After the game drive, you will leave Lake Nakuru and drive toward the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and rural Kenya before arriving in the Mara region.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your accommodation and enjoy lunch. The remainder of the afternoon will be relaxed, giving you time to rest and prepare for the exciting full-day safari experience ahead.

Day 4: Full-Day Maasai Mara Game Drive
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations.
After an early breakfast, you will set out with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to encounter the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—alongside cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, and many other species.
Your experienced driver-guide will work with you to make the most of your time in the reserve. Because this is a private safari, you have greater flexibility to discuss the pace of the game drive and the wildlife you would particularly like to see.
The Mara is also famous for the Great Migration, which takes place seasonally. Although November is outside the peak migration period, the Maasai Mara remains an excellent year-round wildlife destination, with resident wildlife and predators offering rewarding game-viewing opportunities.
You will enjoy your picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your exploration of the reserve. Later in the afternoon, you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi | Safari Ends
Enjoy your final breakfast at the lodge before preparing for your journey back to Nairobi. After breakfast, Jossec Safaris will begin the return journey from the Maasai Mara to Nairobi.
As you travel, take time to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past five days—from the elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli to the wildlife of Lake Nakuru and the unforgettable game drives across the Maasai Mara.
You will arrive in Nairobi later in the day, where you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
Your safari officially ends upon arrival in Nairobi.
