This safari combines exciting wildlife viewing, beautiful landscapes and relaxed moments by the lakes, making it a well-balanced introduction to Kenya’s most remarkable destinations.
The safari begins in Nairobi and takes you to the famous Masai Mara, where you will enjoy extensive game drives in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs and other wildlife. From the Mara, continue to Lake Nakuru for wildlife viewing before ending your journey at Lake Naivasha with a scenic boat ride and a walk on Crescent Island.
The package is based on single occupancy and is available as a group joining safari from July to December. Accommodation can be selected from the Budget, Economy or Midrange options, with the price varying according to the accommodation category chosen.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Your safari begins in Nairobi with an early morning departure for the Masai Mara National Reserve. Meet your Jossec Safaris driver-guide and fellow travelers before beginning the scenic journey through the Kenyan countryside and into the Great Rift Valley.
Continue towards the Masai Mara, enjoying views of rural Kenya, rolling hills and traditional communities along the way. Depending on the arrival time and road conditions, you will have your first opportunity for a game drive in the reserve as you make your way towards your accommodation.
The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations and is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. After arriving at the camp or lodge, settle in and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Game Drive
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara. This is your main wildlife day, giving you plenty of time to explore different areas of the reserve and experience the remarkable diversity of the Mara ecosystem.
Your driver-guide will take you through the open savannah in search of wildlife. Depending on the season and animal movements, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and other species. The Mara is also famous for its large populations of big cats, so keep your eyes open for lions, cheetahs and leopards.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing with your afternoon game drive. The changing light and scenery provide excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife observation.
After an exciting day in the bush, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before checking out and departing the Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park.
The journey takes you through the scenic Kenyan countryside as you travel towards the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in the Lake Nakuru area, check in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.
Depending on your arrival time, you can use the afternoon to rest at the accommodation, enjoy the surrounding environment or simply take some time to recover after the previous day's game drive.
Lake Nakuru is well known for its birdlife and wildlife, including rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other animals.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru Game Drive – Lake Naivasha
Start the morning with breakfast before heading out for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
The morning is a great time to explore the park when wildlife is often active. Look out for the endangered black and white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. The park's scenic landscapes and lake views also make this an enjoyable destination for photography.
After the game drive, depart Lake Nakuru and continue towards Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya's beautiful freshwater lakes.
On arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. You can unwind at the lodge, enjoy the lake surroundings or simply rest after the day's activities.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha Boat Ride & Crescent Island Walk – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy one of the highlights of the safari: a boat ride on Lake Naivasha.
Cruise across the freshwater lake while enjoying views of the surrounding landscape and looking out for hippos and a variety of bird species. The peaceful setting provides a completely different experience from the savannah game drives of the previous days.
Continue with a guided walking experience on Crescent Island, where you can walk among wildlife in a beautiful lakeside environment. Depending on the season and conditions, you may see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and numerous bird species.
After the activities, return for lunch before beginning your journey back to Nairobi. As your 5-day adventure comes to an end, Jossec Safaris will ensure a smooth transfer to your preferred drop-off point in Nairobi.
