Experience the best of Tanzania’s legendary Northern Circuit on this unforgettable 5-day safari through Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport before exploring some of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Discover Tarangire’s impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful savannah landscapes, then continue to the world-famous Serengeti, where vast plains provide an exceptional setting for wildlife viewing and the Great Migration.
The safari continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas. Descend into the crater for an exciting game drive with opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, flamingos and other wildlife.
Throughout the journey, you will travel with an experienced safari team, enjoy carefully selected accommodation and experience Tanzania’s spectacular landscapes, wildlife and hospitality. The safari ends in Arusha with a comfortable transfer to Arusha Airport for onward travel.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, where the Labonze Safaris team will warmly welcome you.
You will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and recover from your journey. If you have sufficient time and energy, an optional Arusha city tour can be arranged, allowing you to experience local markets, cultural landmarks and the lively atmosphere of Arusha.
Overnight: Tulia or similar accommodation in Arusha.
Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and drive approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant families, magnificent baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife particularly during dry periods.
During your game drive, look for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, bushbuck, hartebeest and various predators, including lions and leopards.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the late afternoon, leave Tarangire and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The scenery gradually changes from the highlands into the enormous plains of the Serengeti. After a packed lunch en route, enter Serengeti National Park and begin your game drive.
The Serengeti offers opportunities to search for the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros — together with cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras and numerous other species.
Continue your game drive before arriving at your Serengeti accommodation in the evening.
Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge or Nyani Campsite, or similar.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti – Ngorongoro

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and supports an extraordinary concentration and diversity of wildlife. Explore its grasslands, lakes and other habitats while searching for lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, flamingos and other species.
After your crater exploration and picnic lunch, begin the journey back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
Upon arrival in Arusha, relax at your accommodation. Depending on your travel arrangements, you can enjoy your final evening before transferring to Arusha Airport (ARK) the following day for your onward flight.
