Day 1: Full day game drive
After breakfast at your Arusha hotel, meet your Sunlife Tours safari guide and drive along the scenic Arusha–Dodoma highway toward Tarangire National Park, passing through the Masai Steppe. After about two hours, arrive at the park entrance where your guide will handle all entry formalities. Enjoy a full-day Tarangire safari, famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. Savor a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with afternoon game drives through the rich landscapes. Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Lodge, a perfect retreat after your first day of this unforgettable Tanzania wildlife safari.

Day 2: Game drive
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic journey from Karatu with your experienced Sunlife Tours safari guide. Drive across the vast Great Rift Valley floor, then ascend into the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, take in breathtaking landscapes and watch for possible wildlife sightings, including zebras, gazelles, and birds of prey.
Stop at a designated site for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Afterward, continue into the heart of the Central Serengeti (Seronera), one of the richest wildlife habitats in Africa. Embark on an afternoon game drive where you’re likely to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and the ever-moving herds of wildebeest and zebras, especially during the Great Migration season.
In the late afternoon, arrive at your lodge, unwind around a traditional campfire, and enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars before settling in for the night.

Day 3: Full day at the Serengeti National Park
Begin your morning with an optional sunrise game drive, an excellent opportunity to spot nocturnal predators returning from the hunt and early risers like elephants, hyenas, and lions active in the cool morning air. Afterward, return to camp for a relaxed breakfast before setting off on a thrilling full-day safari across the Serengeti plains—a name derived from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning endless land.
Spend the day traversing different parts of the park, renowned for its rich biodiversity and dramatic landscapes. Search for iconic African wildlife such as leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, elands, and more. The Serengeti is also a haven for birdwatching, with a variety of resident and seasonal migratory birds.
As the day winds down, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast at your camp or lodge, embark on a final morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park, concentrating on the wildlife-rich Seronera River Valley. Your experienced Sunlife Tours guide will use radio communication with other guides to help locate the best animal and bird sightings, giving you a last chance to see lions, leopards, elephants, and diverse bird species.
By early afternoon, begin your scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking landscapes en route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and unwind with a delicious dinner followed by an overnight stay

Day 5: Ngorongoro crater back to Arusha
After breakfast at your camp, descend early into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s premier wildlife havens. The morning game drive inside this natural amphitheater offers excellent opportunities to see rare species such as the elusive Black Rhino along with other members of the Big Five. Explore the diverse habitats scattered across the crater floor, surrounded by towering 600-meter-high walls. Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending back up the crater rim. Then begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
