After breakfast, drive from Moshi to Marangu Gate for registration and climbing formalities. Begin your trek through Kilimanjaro’s lush montane rainforest, where you may encounter blue monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys.
Arrive at Mandara Hut for dinner and your first overnight on the mountain.

After breakfast, leave the rainforest and enter the heath and moorland zone. The landscape gradually opens, providing impressive views of Mawenzi Peak and Kibo on clear days.
Continue steadily toward Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

Hiking: Approx. 5–7 hours
Accommodation: Horombo Hut
Spend an additional day at Horombo to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. Depending on conditions and your guide's assessment, take an acclimatization hike toward Zebra Rocks before returning to Horombo Hut.
This extra day is important preparation for the higher elevations ahead.

Continue through increasingly sparse vegetation toward Kilimanjaro's alpine desert. Cross the dramatic Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo before reaching Kibo Hut.
After an early dinner, organize your summit equipment and rest before beginning the final ascent around midnight.

Hiking: Approx. 5–7 hours
Accommodation: Kibo Hut
Around midnight, begin the toughest and most rewarding section of the climb. Ascend slowly toward Gilman's Point at 5,685m, then continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895m, the highest point in Africa.
Celebrate your achievement and enjoy the spectacular summit views before descending to Kibo Hut for a short rest. Afterwards, continue the descent to Horombo Hut for a well-earned dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin your final descent through the moorland and rainforest, passing Mandara Hut before reaching Marangu Gate.
Successful climbers receive their Kilimanjaro summit certificates before meeting the transfer vehicle for the drive back to Moshi.
