7-Day Classic Kenya Safari: Ol Pejeta, Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha

Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive north through central Kenya’s fertile highlands, arriving at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on a game drive exploring this world-renowned sanctuary, home to the world's last remaining northern white rhinos and a thriving population of black rhinos. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to learn about rescued chimps before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a full day dedicated to game viewing within Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Set out on morning and afternoon game drives to track the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kenya. Discover the conservancy's innovative wildlife protection programs and enjoy peaceful views across the savannah before returning to your camp or lodge for dinner.

Journey further north across the equator into the rugged wilderness of Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge along the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro River. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive searching for the "Samburu Special Five"—the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. Afterwards, visit a local Samburu village to interact with the community, learn about their pastoralist traditions, and experience their traditional dances.

Leave the northern wilderness behind and travel toward the Great Rift Valley. En route, make a scenic stop at Nyahururu to marvel at Thomson's Falls, a dramatic 74-meter waterfall on the Ewaso Narok River. Continue downward into Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for lunch. In the late afternoon, set out on a game drive along the shores of Lake Nakuru, renowned for its flamingos, pelicans, white rhinos, and Rothschild's giraffes.

Take an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to spot lions and elusive leopards before departing for nearby Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, embark on a boat ride across the lake to view hippos and abundant birdlife. Disembark at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a guided walking safari, where you can walk safely alongside giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a predator-free environment.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast by the lake before driving back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, take a city tour highlighting Kenya's vibrant capital, including a visit to the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). Head up to the KICC helipad for panoramic views over the city skyline. Afterwards, enjoy an optional lunch or shopping transfer before your drop-off at the airport or hotel.
