After breakfast, your journey into the wild truly begins as you head to Tarangire National Park, a treasure trove of wildlife that remains refreshingly off the beaten path compared to its more famous neighbours. The park stretches along the Tarangire River and is dominated by gentle hills across the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its dramatic landscape features Acacia woodlands, giant ancient Baobab trees, some of which are thousands of years old, and vast swamps in the south.
