Bab Ksiba, translating to "Little Fort," is a historic gate located in the southwestern part of Marrakesh's medina. Constructed during the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century, it serves as one of the entrances to the royal Kasbah, a district established by Sultan Yaqub al-Mansour. The Kasbah houses notable landmarks such as the El Mansouria Mosque, the El Badi Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. Distinctive for the large, ancient eucalyptus tree standing to its left, Bab Ksiba offers access to a neighborhood rich in history and architectural heritage.

The ramparts of Marrakech encircle the medina, or old town, and stretch for 19km. There are 20 gates leading to the medina, one of which is Bab Ksiba.

Great night market for food & shopping. Be extra vigilant...!!! Once the merchant/ taxi knows that u are a tourist you are most likely to be played out.
