2-Day Safari Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater Join Group

Start your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 AM. Leave for Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Tarangire is the third largest national park in Tanzania and is known throughout the world for its dense population of herbivores and large herds of elephants. Not just the animals, even the large baobab trees inside the national park have become tourist attractions in recent times. The national park's lifeblood is the Tarangire River, which bisects the park. The river is also where many animals, both predators and prey, gather around. This provides for an excellent game-viewing opportunity to all the travelers. Once you are done with the day-long safari, head to Mto wa Mbu Public Campsite for our great shower, dinner, and overnight stay. Enjoy a full-board meal.

Start your day early. Carry a picnic lunch with you and head for the crater's floor at 8:00 AM. The floor is teeming with wildlife as very few animals move in and out of its 2000ft-high walls. See lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird species. Visit the nook and cranny of the crater, where your driver/guide will take you after contacting other safari drivers in the area. Ascend from the crater floor late in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha City and dropped off evening.
