Experience one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations on this 3-Day Private Amboseli Safari from Nairobi.
Amboseli National Park is often called the “Land of Giants” because of its large herds of elephants. It is one of the best places in Africa to see these magnificent animals moving freely across open plains.
The park is also famous for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. On clear days, the snow-capped summit creates a breathtaking backdrop for wildlife photography.
During this private safari, you will explore the park in a comfortable 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with your own professional driver-guide. You will search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and many bird species.
The safari includes private transport, game drives, park fees, accommodation, and meals. You may choose from budget, mid-range, or luxury lodges and tented camps depending on your preferred comfort level.
An optional Maasai village visit can also be added for travellers who would like to learn more about the local culture.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Nairobi.
Meet your Trek Afrika Adventures driver-guide and depart in a private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser.
The journey follows the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway before continuing through open plains and rural landscapes. Along the way, you may see local homesteads, livestock, and Maasai herders dressed in traditional clothing.
You will arrive in the Amboseli area around midday and proceed to your lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch.
After some time to relax, depart for your first afternoon game drive.
Amboseli’s open landscape makes wildlife viewing especially rewarding. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, buffaloes, and predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli National Park Safari
Wake up early and begin the day with a morning game drive.
The cooler early hours are often a good time to see animals before the heat of the day. You may encounter elephants crossing the plains, lions returning from a night hunt, and other wildlife becoming active.
Return to your lodge or camp for breakfast before continuing with another game drive.
Amboseli is known for its large elephant population, and seeing a herd walking across the savannah with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background is one of Kenya’s most memorable safari experiences.
You will also visit some of the park’s key wildlife areas, including the seasonal lakes, wetlands, and marshes. These areas attract buffaloes, hippos, elephants, antelopes, and many bird species.
A visit to Observation Hill may also be included. From the top, you can enjoy wide views across the park, including the marshes, plains, and distant mountain scenery.
Return to your accommodation for lunch and some time to rest.
Later in the afternoon, head out for another game drive or continue exploring the park throughout the day, depending on your preferred safari pace.
You may also add an optional visit to a nearby Maasai village. During the visit, you will learn about traditional homes, family life, cattle keeping, songs, dances, and community customs.
