3-Day Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara Private Safari (Mid-Range)

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Often referred to as Africa's Eden, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and the endangered black rhino. The crater floor offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the year due to its permanent water sources and rich grazing grounds. Enjoy a picnic lunch near one of the crater's scenic picnic sites before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for your final day of safari. Lake Manyara is known for its beautiful scenery, groundwater forest, acacia woodland, and the alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos during certain times of the year. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are never guaranteed. Enjoy a game drive through the park while looking for elephants, baboons, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, monkeys, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the afternoon, continue your game drive before returning to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
