Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Begin your family adventure with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its elephants, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire is an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s safari experience.
Enjoy a relaxed game drive with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, and many bird species. After lunch, continue exploring before heading to your comfortable family-friendly lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Full-Day Tarangire Experience
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before another exciting day exploring Tarangire. Take a relaxed game drive through different areas of the park, allowing plenty of time for wildlife viewing and photography.
Enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch before continuing your safari. In the afternoon, return to your accommodation for relaxation, swimming, or family time before dinner.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy the scenic drive through Tanzania’s countryside and highlands.
Arrive at your comfortable lodge in the Karatu area, where the family can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The afternoon can be spent at leisure or enjoying a family-friendly cultural experience, depending on availability.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. The crater offers excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and possibly the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending and continuing toward Serengeti National Park. Enter the Serengeti with an afternoon game drive before arriving at your family-friendly lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti Family Safari
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti at a comfortable family-friendly pace. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.
Depending on the season and location, you may also witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras during the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch at camp, followed by relaxation and more wildlife viewing.

Day 6: Serengeti – Arusha
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, giving the family one last opportunity to experience Tanzania’s incredible wildlife.
Return to camp for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Enjoy scenic views and wildlife sightings along the way before arriving in Arusha in the afternoon.
Your 6-day family safari ends with drop-off at your hotel or another agreed location.
