The safari begins in Arusha and takes you through some of northern Tanzania’s most celebrated national parks, including Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.
After exciting game drives across open savannahs and dramatic volcanic landscapes, the tour transitions from adventure to relaxation. You return to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar, where white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and a laid-back island atmosphere await. Your time in Zanzibar is dedicated to beach relaxation, leisure activities, and cultural discovery in historic Stone Town before departure.

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your budget hotel in Arusha. After a short safari briefing, the rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife migration along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a guided game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, transfer to a budget lodge or campsite near Tarangire for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying en-route wildlife viewing as you enter the vast Serengeti plains. An afternoon game drive introduces you to this iconic ecosystem, home to lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests. Dinner and overnight at a budget tented camp in Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti, exploring different habitats including open plains and rocky kopjes. After lunch, drive toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing scenic landscapes and Maasai villages. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and spend time relaxing in the cool highland environment. Dinner and overnight near Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha and transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your representative and transfer to your budget beach hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax by the ocean. Overnight in Zanzibar.

Day 7: Zanzibar Beach Relaxation
Enjoy a full day at leisure on Zanzibar’s beautiful white-sand beaches. Optional activities such as snorkeling, spice tours, or a dhow sunset cruise can be arranged. Overnight at your beach hotel.

Day 8: Stone Town Tour & Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a guided Stone Town tour, exploring historical sites, markets, and cultural landmarks. Later, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight. End of safari and beach holiday.
