Tanzania's northern safari circuit is one of the world's great wildlife journeys. This ten-day itinerary covers the full northern circuit in depth — from the ancient baobab forests and elephant concentrations of Tarangire, through two extended stays at the Ngorongoro Crater (the world's largest intact volcanic caldera), and across three days on the vast plains of the Serengeti. Every property has been selected for its exceptional position and guiding quality: Gran Melia Arusha for your arrival night; Tarangire Sopa Lodge (elevated views over the park); Escarpment Luxury Lodge on the Ngorongoro crater rim; Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (central Serengeti, world-class guiding); and Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for a second crater experience. The Great Migration — one of Earth's most extraordinary recurring events — is present in some form year-round: calving season (January–February) on the southern plains, the famous Mara River crossings (July–September) in the north. This itinerary is designed to be extraordinary regardless of when you travel.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly met by your private Tusafiri Africa Safaris representative and transferred to your luxury lodge nestled amidst rolling coffee plantations or lush gardens. Payment Methods & Deposit Terms

A 40% deposit is required within 7 days of booking confirmation. The remaining 60% balance is due 30 days before the 1st service start date.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Upon your confirmation of the booking, any subsequent cancellation will incur fee charges assessed against the total itinerary cost based on the following schedule: 50% Fee: Applied for cancellations made 34 days prior to the first service. 75% Fee: Applied for cancellations made 14 days prior to the first service. 100% Fee: Applied for cancellations made 7 days or fewer prior to the first service. Tipping Guidelines

Tipping is a customary gesture of appreciation for exceptional service throughout your journey. We recommend budgeting US $15.00 per person, per day for your main safari driver-guide. For lodge and camp staff, general tip boxes are available at reception, where US $5.00 to $10.00 is standard to cover back-of-house teams. For specialized local guides or boat captains, US $5.00 to $10.00 per activity is appreciated. Tips are best paid in cash using crisp US Dollar bills or local

Child Policy

Children aged 2 to 11 sharing a room with two full-paying adults receive discounted rates, typically 50% to 75% of the adult price depending on the property. Children occupying their own room are charged standard adult or single rates. Minimum age limits apply for specific activities, including gorilla trekking (minimum 15 years) and walking safaris (typically minimum 12 to 16 years). Children under 2 years generally travel free, though nominal transport or sanctuary fees may apply.

Single Supplement Policy

Safari package pricing is based on double occupancy. Single travelers occupying a private room or tent incur a single supplement charge to cover fixed accommodation and transfer costs. During low or green seasons, select partner lodges may waive this fee. For group bookings requesting individual rooms, the supplement applies strictly to those single units. Exact rates vary by property and season, typically ranging between 20% and 50% above the per-person sharing rate.

Terms & Booking Conditions

Availability: Quotations remain subject to hotel, lodge, and flight availability at confirmation unless "Booking Confirmed" appears in the programme header. Check-In / Check-Out: Standard check-in is from 14:00; check-out is before 11:00. Game Reserves: Fully inclusive packages cover check-in before lunch, check-out after breakfast, three daily meals (Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast), and two game activities per day.
