Day 1: Nairobi – Great Rift Valley – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
Meet your Trek Afrika Adventures driver-guide and travel west towards the Maasai Mara. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to admire one of Africa's most spectacular landscapes and capture memorable photographs.
Continue through Narok Town and the traditional Maasai countryside before arriving at your safari lodge or tented camp in time for lunch.
After checking in and relaxing, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara.
Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many other wildlife species as you begin your safari adventure.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari
After an early breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the incredible Maasai Mara National Reserve.
The reserve is home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five:
You may also encounter cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and numerous antelope species.
If travelling between July and October, you may witness part of the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River from Tanzania's Serengeti.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the reserve before continuing with more wildlife viewing during the afternoon.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy breakfast before checking out and departing for Lake Nakuru National Park.
Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley with opportunities to admire Kenya's beautiful countryside along the way.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya's best places to see both black and white rhinos. The park is also home to Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and hundreds of bird species.
Depending on the season and water levels, you may also see flamingos gathering along the lake shoreline.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
