Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. After entering the park, begin your game drive through landscapes characterized by ancient baobab trees, open grasslands, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River. Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephants, and you may see large herds gathering around water sources. Other wildlife may include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, lions, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the afternoon, leave Tarangire and drive toward Karatu, near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
