Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will meet your professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, located approximately 2–3 hours from Arusha. The journey takes you through the beautiful countryside and local villages, offering an opportunity to experience the landscapes and daily life of northern Tanzania.
Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, you will begin your first game drive, exploring the park's diverse landscapes of open savannah, seasonal wetlands and magnificent baobab trees.
Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds. During the game drive, you may also encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles and a wide variety of bird species.
Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site within or near the park, followed by some time to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
In the afternoon, continue with your game drive, exploring different parts of the park while your guide looks for wildlife and explains the behaviour, habitat and ecology of the animals you encounter.
Later in the afternoon, leave the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp, where you can relax, freshen up and enjoy dinner while taking in the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is a beautiful and diverse wildlife destination in northern Tanzania, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is known for its scenic landscapes, lush groundwater forests, open grasslands and the shallow alkaline waters of Lake Manyara.
During a game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, monkeys and a variety of bird species. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed.
A visit to Lake Manyara offers a wonderful combination of wildlife viewing, birdwatching and spectacular scenery, making it an excellent addition to a Northern Tanzania safari.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Return Arusha Moshi
After breakfast, depart from your lodge and drive towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Descend into the crater and enjoy the opportunity to observe a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site while taking in the spectacular scenery of the crater.
After the game drive, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha or Moshi. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and rural scenery of northern Tanzania.
Upon arrival in Arusha or Moshi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your safari experience.
