This safari combines the remarkable conservation success of Ol Pejeta Conservancy with the rugged beauty of Samburu National Reserve, giving you the opportunity to enjoy incredible wildlife, beautiful scenery, and fewer crowds than many of Kenya's popular parks. Your adventure begins at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of East Africa's leading wildlife conservation areas. The conservancy is home to the Big Five, Kenya's largest population of endangered black rhinos, and the famous Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary—the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen. From Ol Pejeta, continue north to Samburu National Reserve, a spectacular wilderness where the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River attracts elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many rare northern Kenya species. Samburu is especially famous for the Samburu Special Five: the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. Travel in a private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with your own experienced driver-guide and enjoy personalized game drives, comfortable accommodation, and unforgettable wildlife encounters throughout your safari.

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Meet your Trek Afrika Adventures driver-guide and travel north through Kenya's beautiful central highlands. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of coffee farms, tea plantations, pineapple farms, and the impressive slopes of Mount Kenya, Africa's second-highest mountain. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch at your selected safari lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive inside the conservancy. Ol Pejeta is one of Kenya's best wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and one of East Africa's largest populations of endangered black rhinos. You will also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where rescued chimpanzees are cared for in a protected environment. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The following terms are provided directly by Trek Afrika Adventures. Please read carefully before booking.

Tour Booking Policy

Payment Methods & Deposit Terms

At the time of booking, a deposit of 35% of the total tour price per person. The remaining payment must be submitted no later than 2 weeks prior to departure. If the deadline for the remaining payment is exceeded, Trek Afrika Adventures will be unable to confirm the booking for the client. All payments must be made by internet transfer (electronic funds transfer) or telegraphic bank transfer (SWIFT). Funds are normally cleared within five to seven working days.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation up to 90 days prior to commencement of the safari: 30% cancellation charges. Cancellation up to 35 days prior to commencement of the safari : 40% cancellation charges Cancellation up to 15 days prior to commencement of the safari : 60% cancellation charges Cancellation less than 15 days prior to safari start : 100% cancellation charges Hotel cancellation policy applies on all hotel/lodge cancellations Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited

Tipping Guidelines

A standard Tipping guidance of $10 per day is reccommended. However this is not mandatory .

Child Policy

Kids on Safari Pay 75% of the Adult Rate Kids Age starts from 3yrs-11yrs Kids below 3yrs are free of charge

Single Supplement Policy

Single Suplement on hotel/lodge room is 30% more on the a room per person rate. Single supplement on sfari package is 50% more on the per person rate

Booking Terms and Conditions In order to make your booking, please make sure that you have the correct names, nationalities and date of birth of all travelers as per their passports. If a hotel is fully booked Trek Afrika Adventures will try to offer you an alternative property of a similar standard and location.
