This 5-day Tanzania safari offers an unforgettable journey from the beaches of Zanzibar to the heart of Northern Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Starting with a flight from Zanzibar to the mainland, the safari takes you to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant birdlife. From there, the adventure continues to the legendary Serengeti National Park, where endless plains host large populations of wildlife and powerful predators, offering classic African safari experiences. A half-day game drive in the Serengeti allows you to witness wildlife activity during the most rewarding hours before driving to the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The tour then explores the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its dense concentration of animals, including lions, buffalo, hippos, and the rare black rhinoceros. Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival, you are met by your professional safari guide and depart immediately toward Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, the landscape opens into vast savannah dotted with ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds, and it is common to see families moving gracefully across the plains or gathering along the Tarangire River. Throughout the day, you enjoy game drives in search of lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a rich variety of birdlife. In the late afternoon, you leave the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight near Tarangire.
