From the rugged, wildlife-rich landscapes of Samburu to the rhino sanctuary of Lake Nakuru and the legendary plains of the Maasai Mara, this safari combines exceptional game viewing, beautiful scenery and authentic Kenyan experiences. Travel in a customized 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, accompanied by an experienced professional safari driver-guide. Along the way, look out for the Big Five, Samburu’s rare northern species, black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, big cats and hundreds of bird species. With 2 nights in Samburu, 1 night at Lake Nakuru and 2 nights in the Maasai Mara, this itinerary gives you enough time to explore each destination while experiencing the dramatic changes in Kenya’s landscape. Your adventure begins in Nairobi and travels north through Kenya’s beautiful central highlands toward Samburu National Reserve. Along the journey, enjoy views of agricultural landscapes and, weather permitting, the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Samburu offers a completely different safari experience from southern Kenya. Its dry landscapes, rugged hills and the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River provide a habitat for elephants, lions, leopards and several rare species collectively known as the Samburu Special Five. From Samburu, travel south toward Lake Nakuru National Park, with a scenic stop at Thomson’s Falls in Nyahururu. Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s most important rhino sanctuaries and offers excellent opportunities to see both black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and abundant birdlife. The grand finale is the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most celebrated safari destination. Spend two nights exploring its sweeping savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and many other species.

Your Kenyan safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or agreed meeting point. Meet your professional safari driver-guide and depart Nairobi, travelling north through Kenya's fertile central highlands. The journey offers beautiful views of farms, small towns and agricultural plantations, with opportunities to see Mount Kenya on a clear day. Continue north toward the increasingly dry and dramatic landscapes of Samburu County before arriving at Samburu National Reserve. Check in at your safari lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Samburu is particularly famous for wildlife species rarely encountered in Kenya's southern parks. Keep watch for Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich. Tour Booking Policy

Payment Methods & Deposit Terms

At the time of booking, a deposit of 35% of the total tour price per person. The remaining payment must be submitted no later than 2 weeks prior to departure. If the deadline for the remaining payment is exceeded, Trek Afrika Adventures will be unable to confirm the booking for the client. All payments must be made by internet transfer (electronic funds transfer) or telegraphic bank transfer (SWIFT). Funds are normally cleared within five to seven working days.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation up to 90 days prior to commencement of the safari: 30% cancellation charges. Cancellation up to 35 days prior to commencement of the safari : 40% cancellation charges Cancellation up to 15 days prior to commencement of the safari : 60% cancellation charges Cancellation less than 15 days prior to safari start : 100% cancellation charges Hotel cancellation policy applies on all hotel/lodge cancellations Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited

Tipping Guidelines

A standard Tipping guidance of $10 per day is reccommended. However this is not mandatory .

Child Policy

Kids on Safari Pay 75% of the Adult Rate Kids Age starts from 3yrs-11yrs Kids below 3yrs are free of charge

Single Supplement Policy

Single Suplement on hotel/lodge room is 30% more on the a room per person rate. Single supplement on sfari package is 50% more on the per person rate
