Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey. Birdwatching: Tarangire is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with more breeding bird species than anywhere else in the world. Nature: Keep an eye out for the towering, ancient baobab trees, some of which are over a thousand years old. After an early breakfast, travel through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater along the way. Continue towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park, where your first exciting game drive begins as you enter the endless plains. The Serengeti is home to Africa's highest concentration of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeests and zebras. After breakfast, depart Serengeti with an en-route game drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as Africa's 'Garden of Eden.' Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, where you have an excellent opportunity to spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and a variety of birdlife. After your picnic lunch, ascend the crater and drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
