Michael Lees I imagine it's more fun during peak holiday season, but it seems quite quiet with a sense of desperation as the bars restaurants and yours are past their heyday. Having said that, there is a large rage of places to eat and buy souvenirs. Be prepared as always for hawkers and sob stories about needing money to feed their hordes of hungry children.
Paul Ciprian A very beautiful, clean, decent tourist area. Many hotels, many yachts, restaurants where you can even drink beer. A real one, with alcohol!
sayori Best place to stay in for tourists. Airbnbs are priced okay, there are restaurants everywhere although expensive and there are shops around to do some grocery shopping or buy souvenirs. Beware of scams and people overpricing items. Overall can’t complain, really nice for holidays and we made a few friends.
Andrew Sheppard As a lover of history a definite must visit. Went as part of an excursion so limited time allowed. Could easily spend a few hours wandering the maze of walkways. Amazing views from the top of the Ribat but wasn’t brave enough to venture up the taller minaret.
Parvez Fattah Cute nice area to take a walk. Went during morning weekday so not sure how busy it will be at other times. Boat rides are cheap compared to other places in the world so definitely worth trying.
