Mtwapa Creek, located 16 km north of Mombasa city along the Kenyan coast, is known for its stunning scenery and ecological importance. The creek stretches 14 km inland, bordered by mangrove forests and mudbanks, and is fed by seasonal rivers such as Kwa Ndovu, Kashani, and Kidutani. Infrastructure improvements in the 1980s, including the construction of Mtwapa Bridge, enhanced accessibility to the area. Today, visitors can enjoy views of small boats and yachts from the bridge and engage in activities like boat rides, birdwatching, and exploring the mangrove forests.
